Microbiome Analysis
the human intestine is
over 8 metres long and home to over 39 trillion microorganisms. This intestinal microbiome is the basis for our wellbeing. It consists of bacteria, viruses and fungi. It is constantly changing from birth and heavily influenced by our diet and environment.
We are hearing more and more about how important the health of our microbiome is to our mental and physical wellbeing. But how healthy is your gut? Wouldn’t that be a good place to start? This science backed analysis evaluates
- Microbial composition–how different and unique your microbiome is.
- Nutrition and food utilisation–how your gut bacteria impact your nutrient intake
- Healthy–how your gut bacteria are impacting your health–such as skin, mental health, immunity and bowels.
Through our partner myBioma, we use state of the art DNA sequencing technologies to sequence all bacteria in a stool sample and identify over 1500 different species simultaneously. These data are then compiled by data-based algorithms to establish links between your gut bacteria and your health.
This assessment will start with a 15-minute consultation, after which you will be given your personal kit for a sample. We will send the sample off for analysis. In four weeks you will return for a report out of the assessment and some detailed recommendations on how to improve your microbiome through diet. Consider this the start of your journey to a healthy gut and improved health outcomes!

Gut health is crucial as it plays a vital role in digestion, nutrient absorption, and overall immune function, impacting everything from energy levels to mental well-being. Maintaining a healthy gut can lead to improved mood, better sleep, and a stronger immune system, enhancing your overall quality of life.
